The series of workshops dedicated to the integrated case management of persons with disabilities continues in Beirut. This ambitious journey involves the collaboration of AICS (Italian Agency for Development Cooperation), experts from AUSL Toscana Sud Est, and the ARCO research center (University of Florence), all partners of the Global Health Center.
At the heart of the meeting, a constructive dialogue with representatives from the Lebanese Ministries of Social Affairs, Public Health, and Education. The goal is far-reaching:
- Integrate healthcare, social, and educational dimensions.
- Adopt a common language and shared operational tools.
- Co-design a model based on the bio-psycho-social approach.
We are working to ensure coordinated, measurable, and sustainable support, placing the rights and needs of persons with disabilities at the center of our efforts.
