Today, a meeting was held at the European Union Delegation to Syria in Damascus. The meeting was attended by Liana De Rosa, Director of AICS Beirut, and Marco Croce, Deputy Director.
The meeting saw the participation of the Heads of Cooperation of the EU Member States, and served as an opportunity for the presentation of the UNDP Support of Planning and Statistics Authority program, and for discussing the possibilities for the various donors to contribute to the successful implementation of the program.
AICS is currently engaged in the formulation of a new delegated initiative in the agricultural sector, and the participatory dialogue with the Delegation present in Syria represented a good opportunity for an update on the activities underway.
