In the presence of the Minister of Agriculture and with the participation of AICS Beirut, UNDP, and FAO, a meeting was held to present a joint strategy for the municipalities of the Aley district, titled “Authentic Aley.”
The mayors spearheaded this community development proposal, taking a leading role in identifying and communicating the needs of their respective communities while defining a shared vision at the district level.
The event provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives, identify priorities, and explore potential avenues for strengthening partnerships in support of the agricultural sector and local communities.
This approach aligns with the AICS vision, which promotes integrated development interventions at the district level by enhancing coordination between local actors and institutions.
