Preserving and enhancing Lebanon’s cultural heritage is a priority for safeguarding historical identity and promoting sustainable development. Italian Cooperation-funded initiatives focus on : the Restoration of archaeological sites, historic buildings, and museums, the Use of advanced techniques and compatible materials for preservation, ongoing digitization and documentation programs to improve accessibility and awareness, promotion of cultural tourism through revitalized historical routes and exhibition spaces, collaboration with international organizations and local institutions to ensure resources and expertise for effective management, education and awareness campaigns targeting local communities to strengthen commitment to conservation.
